#FiveOnFriday: 5 Recently Released Romance Recommendations

#FiveOnFriday

Here are my TOP 5 picks for excellent romance books that were released in the last few weeks.  I have read and highly recommend them all.  Enjoy!

Truth or Beard by Penny Reid[/ezcol_1third][ezcol_2third_end]

Truth or Beard by Penny Reid

Romantic Comedy

My Rating: 5 stars

My Review

This book is smart, funny, and a little quirky.  The six Winston brothers are sure to entertain and the writing is fantastic.  It is one of my favorite books of 2015 and I can’t recommend it enough (as with all of Penny Reid’s books)!

Ride Steady by Kristen Ashley[/ezcol_1third][ezcol_2third_end]

Ride Steady by Kristen Ashley

Contemporary Romance (Motorcycle Club)

My Rating: 5 stars

My Review

Ride Steady is part of the Chaos series and easily my favorite of them all.  It is a sweet romance between two characters who could use a ‘riding off into the sunset’ kind of happily ever after.  It has bikers and babies.  Enough said.

Sacrifice by Adriana Locke[/ezcol_1third][ezcol_2third_end]

Sacrifice by Adriana Locke

Contemporary Romance (Fighter)

My Rating: 4 stars

This is my first book by Adriana Locke, so I wasn’t sure of what to expect.  After reading the reviews on Amazon and downloading a sample, I was hooked.  I read it quickly because I had to know what was going to happen to the characters.  This book will touch your heart and make you believe in fighting for who you love.

Sloth by Ella James[/ezcol_1third]

Sloth by Ella James

Contemporary Romance (New Adult/Erotica)

My Rating: 4.5 Stars

I thought this book was going to be a typical college romance with an erotic twist.  Boy, was I wrong.  Written in three parts, the first will melt your panties, the third will melt your heart.  I loved all of the twists and now I need to reread it to catch everything I missed the first time through.  Excellent read!

Chasing River by K.A. Tucker

Contemporary Romance (New Adult)

My Rating: 4.5 stars

My Review

This is the third book in the Burying Water series, but the first I have read.  I really enjoyed the story, characters, and writing, as well as the Irish history that is sprinkled throughout.  I am definitely going to go back and read the first two books before the fourth book comes out in October.
