Love Chloe by Alessanra Torre-featured

Love, Chloe

Review of Love, Chloe

Well, that was a fun ride! I loved everything about Love, Chloe.

As you would expect from an Alessandra Torre book, the writing is flawless and well developed.

The story drew me in from the first page and I read the rest of the book in one sitting.

Love, Chloe Summary

When Chloe loses her family’s money (with an FBI raid, no less!), she ends up couch-surfing and struggling to make ends meet. She lands a job with C-list actress Nicole Brantley as an assistant/dog nanny, which brings in money, but also the humiliation of seeing how far she has fallen down the social ladder.

Following a string of bad luck, Chloe finally starts to see that she has to actually work, and work hard, to rebuild her life from the ground up.

She questions every belief and motivation she may have held before losing everything. After a lot of soul-searching, she is finally able to find love.

The reward as a reader is fun, sweet, and sexy.

Coming of Age and Independence Romance

Yes, Love, Chloe is a ‘poor little rich girl’ story, but that is only one part of the whole.  It’s also about her journey into adulthood, her learning to navigate the real world, and it’s about realizing that money can’t buy true happiness.

There are some tough life-lessons, but each one is handled with Torre’s skilled finesse.

As with Hollywood Dirt, I love seeing the lighter side of Alessandra Torre’s work. It just works for me and I am looking forward to more.

Thank you for the advanced copy of LOVE CHLOE by Alessandra Torre.  All opinions are my own.

Love Chloe by Alessandra Torre

You know girls like me. You hate girls like me. The privileged blonde who skips her Ivy League classes when she’s had too many Soho martinis. The one draped on the asshole’s arm because he drives a Bugati and screws like a champ.

I was that girl. I loved being that girl.

Then, my door was broken in. Literally.

And in that moment? Everything changed.
