If you fight, will we last?
All my life, everyone around me made sure I was weak. My father. My sister. And now the man my father forced me to marry. But Oliver doesn't know what I know. Strength can come even in the hardest times, and if you're willing to fight for love, nothing can stand in your way.
For the first time in my life, I'm fighting back, and with Ryder by my side, I'm never letting myself be weak again.
They want us to be their pawns, but I won't let them use her like that. I promised I'd protect Serena, and if it costs me everything in this world, I will.
Even if it means returning to the one place I swore I'd never go back to again.
This series is quickly becoming a guilty pleasure–it’s like a soap opera on steroids. If You Fight is the second book in the Corrupted Love trilogy and it’s definitely not a standalone. I thought the first book was twisty-turny, but I was wrong. So wrong!
Since this is a trilogy, I won’t go into too much detail, but If You Fight picks up right after If I Dream left off. There’s more suspense, more twists, more bad luck, and lots more love between the main characters, Ryder and Serena.
Ryder and Serena are still fighting for their happiness, but they are different people than they were in the first book. This one is much more focused on revenge, which they rightly deserve after everything they have endured. My only hope is that Robert, Serena’s evil father, reaps what he sows in the final book.
If you’re looking for an angsty book with twists, suspense, and cliffhangers, I definitely recommend the Corrupted Love series. I can’t wait to see how it ends!
